HELLO. I’m Lucy,
a postnatal doula and founder of The Matrescence Atelier.
I live in Worthing and support families across Sussex through the tender, transformative weeks after birth.
My journey into doula work began with my own experiences of motherhood and has been enriched by volunteering with a local family support charity and training as an ABM breastfeeding peer supporter. These experiences have shown me just how deeply families need — and deserve — gentle, non-judgemental support in the early days.
I believe that every parent should feel held, respected, and free to follow their instincts. Through a blend of emotional support, practical help, feeding guidance, and a calm presence in your home, I walk alongside you as you navigate your own unique path into parenthood.

As an ABM peer supporter, I offer free breastfeeding support, alongside guidance for weaning when the time feels right.
